Rio is such a great coffee. The grains look beautiful, the aroma fills a room and the taste never disappoints. Both Rio and Ernesto are my go-to coffees. Over the years I have tried coffees from every other roaster in Greater Vancouver and in my opinion, Mogiana has the best cost-benefit of all of them. Rio itself has a great body, not overly roasted, not too bitter (that usually comes from darker roasts). I find it a great Aeropress coffee, with a 4.5 minute steep being enough to smooth it out even more, yielding a beautiful strong coffee.
